Yet again, America is about to bastardize a good anime by producing a live action movie of it. The dragonball z and the avatar movies were terrible, and now they want to ruin Bleach.

Next their gonna wanna do a Naruto live action film then a One Piece one. All I can say is that I hope Tite Kubo knows what he's gonna do to his perfect idea.

However I do not think Live Action Movies 'bastardize' the animes. Look at the Speed Racer Movie. Yeah, it was weird, but it was also pretty good, and a lot better than I expected. It's just that Americans haven't quite figured out how to turn an Anime into a Movie. And in their defense, it's not easy.

But if we can turn comic books into the amazing movies that are the Super Hero Franchise, I have all the confidence that if we keep at it we will get there with Animes and Mangas. And there is clearly a market for it, otherwise these movies wouldn't be getting attention like they are lately. Which is good! Could you imagine watching Bleach or One Piece or Naruto or Deathnote with all the epic of Batman or Ironman put into it? Frickin yes! Plus it could help normalize Anime in the states and get it more popular over here, maybe even getting us more series like Avatar.

Avatar was bad~ But a looot of people went to see it. A lot of people want these shows turned into watchable American movies; they just haven't figured out how to do it. Yet. But I've thought about it myself, and if they worked on it they could make some really awesome movies. We just have to wait for them to figure it out.

And it's not like the Japanese live action movies are any better. Those were just weird. I mean could you imagine how awesome it'd be to watch Bleach 2, the War on Soul Society, on the big screen? With all the epic of Zengetsu, Ichigo hollow, Byakuya, Zaraki, and Renji? Count me in please!

They've had bleach with real people on stage before though, Real Bleach Musical ;)

Bleach has a chance to be a decent movie since it involves sword fighting with some supernatural elements, at least that's what I believe Bleach is like.

For technicality sake, Avatar: The Airbender isn't an anime since it is from the United States.
