    Walid's Testimony

    Post by amaterasu

I found this a while a go, and I remember thinking how marvelous it is to hear a story like this. And shows you the true side of Islam and of Christianity.

It might be a bit long, but it's interesting.

Just curious as to which part you found interesting?

I found the part where he threw rocks onto Israelis pretty interesting. But I guess, that since his way of upbringing is so different than mine, it was fascinating to learn about how they lived

He also grew up in a rather hostile environment, in a hostile time-frame. That sort of thing would have been rather normal.

Yeah, which is completely different from the environment which I grew up in

Surely you knew of it to begin with, or is it the personal experience of one individual what's sparking your interest? Have you not tried to think of such an environment yourself? It could perhaps be the topic of a meditation for the day.

I don't see what your getting at.

Why do you question why I'm interested in it?

    It is just interesting.
