Do u guys think the eighth gate will ever be opened? i know there are two guys that can get almost up there.(rock lee and gai sensei) and i think they are going to be the ones who do it. these are my theories.

1) Lee and Gai vs an Akatsuki. they are both fighting, it's during the climax of the manga.(like the invasion of konoha arc was) where a lot of characters die. anyways gai and lee have both opened their 7th gate. Rock Lee gets knocked out and the akatsuki they are fighting uses his final form or starts doing his last resort jutsu (like all bad guys). Gai takes a second and apologizes to Lee. saying something inspiring like "i'm sorry that i didn't teach u this Lee, i didn't *tear* want u to lose ur youth" something of that sort. and releases his 8th gate. knowing that he will die soon after he beats and kills the akatsuki, when done, he walks back to lee and with his last effort strength takes him to the the medical nin or hospital, then dies.

2) Rock lee and gai sensei have just found out that sake makes you even stronger when you release ur gates. they both celebrate and rock lee goes home while gai stays at the bar. Zetsu appears and fights Gai, gai releases his 8th gate and beats the S**t out of zetsu, but zetsu asks for forgivness, and gai shows mercy, gai powers down (or whatever) and forgets that after you open the 8th gate once you power down you die, gai dies,his body (eaten by zetsu, zetsu leaves gai's head uneaten)is found when Lee comes back the next day. lee knows the only thing that eats people is zetsu so he sets out for zetsu and fights zetsu. Lee opens his 7th gate, and zetsu tells Lee he will make the same mistake his teacher made. Lee gets angry and remembers gai sensei and that they found out sake makes ur chakra gate opening stronger. so pulling out sake from his bag (he started carrying it aroud after his fight with kiminaro) and drinks the whole thing. from there he opens his 8th gate and being drunk at the same time makes him at his ultimate state. Lee Kills zetsu, and somehow the sake prevented lee from dying. finding this out lee has made his own Natural Jutsu. Then the after effects kick in and he is out for like 87 chapters. Juss kidding.

Idk i just think it will happen one day.

The first one sounds pretty plausible.

The second one sounds pretty unbelievable. But yeah I think someday Gai will unlease the 8th gate to keep Rock Lee and the Village alive. It's a Ninja's duty afterall.

i just hope one of them do it soon cuz i want to see it.

No rly well I don't want either of them to do it any time soon because that means that they die and I don't want Rock Lee or Gai to die.

And my theory isn't Zetsu or anything but that Gai will be fighting Itachi. I think this because if you remember at the lake Gai showed up and Itachi ran and at the Hotel a minute before Gai shows up Itachi decides to run away. So I figure it will be him verse Gai.

Sounds cool.

Second part seemed a bit over the top tho.

As I said the first one is pretty believable but I hope it's Itachi not Zetsu.

NAW!!! they're gonna save itachi for sasuke, or maybe even naruto. but if he does fight gai i don't think he'll use it.

But I think Itachi will kill Gai and still live on after the fight. Just saying so it still could be Gai and him in a fight.
